Whilst working as Technical Director of WSP Lighting Jane consolidated her research interests into supporting commercial software development to simulate lighting effects. She is a Fellow of the Society of Light and Lighting and member of the Fellowship Awards Panel. Jane lectures on architecture and lighting design using bespoke calculation software. Recent posts have been at the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus contributing to the Sustainable Architecture Module. She is a technical writer on low energy lighting and provide online "notes packs" to support undergraduate and postgraduate level learning and CPD for construction industry professionals. In the long life learning sector Jane is a spokesperson for senior professional who need to upskill and become hands on in the IT sector to support new business. Her digital Artwork is well respected and she has a portfolio of Public Art collaborations and most recently lectured about her work based on photography at the Porthmeor Studios and Hepworth garden.
