DPN is working in partnership with organisations across the UK, Belgium, France and the Netherlands to support young people who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) in gaining entrepreneurship skills through the development of pop-up businesses run by young people.
It is essential that the postholder has a proven track record in working with young people who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET. The primary function of the role will be to liaise with schools, the local authority, NEET providers, youth groups and other relevant organisations. You will be experienced in working to target and you will have a minimum IAG Level 4 qualification (or be working towards) and you must be passionate about youth work and supporting young people to thrive.
Digital Peninsula Network (DPN) is a technology-driven, dynamic organisation which offers a range of services including training provision, networking events and marketing support. DPN represents the views of businesses in the ICT/Digital sector based in the South West and helps to attract funding and further support for businesses.
The post holder will be required to project manage the successful operation and delivery of the Speed U Up Project at Digital Peninsula Network Ltd.
S/he is responsible for ensuring that the project progresses to plan ensuring that the targets are met i.e. within the planned timescales, cost and parameters set for each stage within the project.
Employment Basis: Full-time
Salary: £28,000 - £31,500 per annum
