Chris Leather - A-Connect

DPN Member Chris Leather realised the potential of the internet in 2000 and began switching career from English teaching abroad taking the Microsoft MCSA course and a degree in computing for which he achieved a 1st. Having avoided computers in favour of surfing from the age of 14, the self imposed hiatus served only as a challenge to establish himself as a freelance nerd!

After providing network support for a few years Chris has moved over to exclusively offering web development and search engine optimisation services since the Establishment of A-Connect Ltd in 2003
A-Connect provide bespoke websites and freelance web development for a number of companies throughout Cornwall. We pride ourselves on creating websites that are fast, functional, accessible and search engine optimised.
Current projects involve the rebuilding of a surfing DVD ecommerce website with a high level of functionality and search engine ‘friendliness’. We are also constantly working on maintaining and improving the search engine rankings of a number of websites with a high degree of success.

A-Connect also run and own a number of websites, deriving income from advertising revenue. These sites range from Cornwall news sites to international hotel booking sites. It is this understanding of the importance of good organic search engine rankings and various internet business models that set us apart from other web design companies. We not only know how to build websites, we know how to run them.
