Skill Support for the Workforce

Skill Support for the Workforce (SSW) is formed by 15 Local Enterprise Partnerships which expand over 9 individual regions within the UK.

The programme is developed to upskill employees within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the South West. DPN provide recognised accredited qualifications and bespoke training courses, to enhance your employees’ skills, increase the competitiveness of your business and boost the local economy.

DPN deliver digital skills training across the following regions as part of the SSW project:

  • Greater Cambridge and Peterborough
  • Heart of the South West
  • West of England
  • Swindon & Wiltshire

The project is co-funded by the European Social Fund and Education and Skills Funding Agency. One of the key factors of SSW is that 56% of their training providers are SME’s (small & medium-sized enterprises, representing 99% of all businesses in the EU).

Digital Peninsula Network is part of Serco’s network of expert organisations chosen to deliver the SSW programme in your area with Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).

Because the programme is co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), we can support your workforce at no extra cost to your business.
